Register online

Register a sole proprietorship through BC Registry Services. You will need your legal name, address and the business name from step 1.

Your address becomes public

Business registration details are public record. If you work from home and do not want strangers or customers to see your address, use a PO box or a mailing address service instead.

Keep it

Save the confirmation. You will need it for the bank account, the municipal licence and your supplier account.
